Shaitan is an Elder God and the King of the Demons. As an Elder God he is the patron and lord of all that thing that are Dark, Chaotic, and Corrupt. He created the first demons by perverting living creatures that came into his domain.
Other more powerful demon were created when other being came into his service including the several corrupt angels that became the Demon Princes the most powerful of Shaitans servants.
